Some of its symptoms are euphoria during aura before the episode, temporary confusion, loss of consciousness or awareness, jerking or twitching of arms and legs, fear, anxiety, and episodes in which the patient stares blankly. Through brain surgery, the part of brain responsible for causing seizures is removed. Therapies, such as vagus nerve stimulation and ketogenic diet help in treating epilepsy.
- • Cervical disc herniation: When the disc between the bones of the spine breaks and the nucleus protrudes outside through the annulus, pain is caused due to compression of a nerve.
